Raising the Bar with Marriott.

Marriott's global food and beverage team keeps finding new reasons to celebrate great food and drink, and I keep getting to film them. Working with Gary Gruver, Marriott's Director of Global Beverage Strategy, I've covered Master of the Craft two years running, a private tour of Buffalo Trace Distillery that’s gone viral, the Barrel Allocation program, and Marriott's Global Business Partners events in Orlando and Newport Beach.

For Barrel Allocation, Marriott partners with Buffalo Trace and other producers to buy barrels of bourbon. Properties that buy into the program come to a one-of-a-kind event to learn the spirits, then choose which bourbons, and how much, they'll pour back home. GBP is a week-long celebration of Marriott's business partners, with dozens of activations, each out-doing the last. I boil it down to a one-minute thank-you recap and, because I always over-deliver a little, a longer cut for future planning.

Every piece is shot and cut by one person, fast enough to share while the event is still news. It's the same partnership behind Tales of the Cocktail and Bourbon is Back.
