Don’t Step … STOMP on the competition.

I’ve said this before … social media is saturated with fashion brands. Collectively they make up 83% of direct-view marketing on social media apps. So to stand out with a truly fire social media campaign you need to really hit the mark. For Birchbury the mark was high; they had seen work I had done for other footwear brands, and wanted to jump in. Again, working with brands that I have a personal connection with makes all the difference. Social media is personal, it’s a space for sharing a look inside someone’s life. Brands forget often that you cant advertise effectively to people on social media if the content isn’t authentic, orgainic, and true to self.

Crafting this content was easy and honest and that’s why it was so effective. I have been seeing me pop up on my feed for a few months now, meaning that it’s working for them too. I think the reason is that my audience is their audience, and seeing a real person with real life experience embrace a brand, and do it in a polished way that only years of making top-tier content can curate, makes all the difference in standing out in a world over-run by competing fashion brands.
