Reinventing the … cup.

Kafo was yet another kickstarter campaign that needed to stick out from the competition. Their product was a truly revolutionary container that kept liquids hot or cold in even the most extreme conditions and still let you enjoy them, including their aroma and warmth, without compromising safety. But let’s face it, it was a cup. They had seen my other unhinged pieces for Dennis Buys Cars and Freakmount (and the loads of views that came with them) and thought maybe we can bring that energy to cup technology. So, instead of trying to convince potential consumers of grandiose claims we decided to go the other way and mock the very industry it was trying to revolutionize. Shot and delivered in one day, the result is a sarcastic, award winning piece of social content that lit up the internet and brought massive attention in a product saturated market in both horizontal & vertical formats. Can you make a video be viral by design? No. But you can film yourself drinking from a puddle on the street & hope for the best.
